8	Policies: Alcohol Same as current year (see your Guide to Residence Living) Not 21 = NO ALCOHOL. Period. Empty or full bottles/cans, replicas of alcohol containers, etc. will be considered a violation of the alcohol policy. (taken from the Guide to Residence Living)
9	Policies: Alcohol Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed in Berry, Buist, College Lodge, Craig, McAlister, and McConnell, regardless of owners age. For Kelly House, Warren Place, Rutledge, and Historic Houses: The possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited if you are less than 21 years of age. If you are 21 years of age or older: No restrictions on type of alcohol. Quantities on premises should not exceed 2 liters or a 12 pack of beer. No kegs. Alcohol is not permitted to be present or consumed in private rooms where there are people under the age of 21 years present. The Residence Life Department does not tolerate the underage use or possession of alcohol in any residential area. Any violation of this policy could result in disciplinary action. 13	Women in Science A community for female freshmen that provides an immersion experience in the sciences and mathematics. Students will live on the 5^th floor of Berry Residence Hall and take classes together. The program encourages women to explore careers in science and math.
14	Spanish House (Casa Hispanica) Promote Spanish language and foster Hispanic culture. Comparable to study abroad Spanish primary language of residents Host Spanish cultural events Residents must have minimum proficiency equivalent to SPAN 202 or native speaker Housed in 8 Bull St. (females only)

16	SCAMP/SPECTRA Learning Community Holistic growth and development of students from historically under represented populations in higher education Student must have a strong interest in majoring in the fields of science, math, or engineering Students should be committed to pursuing a graduate degree after finishing at the college Males and females will be housed in McConnell Residence Hall
17	Honors Program Community Rivers (both Buist and Rutledge) will house Honors Program Students. Honors students may sign up for Rutledge or Buist on their regular assigned day. Non-honors & Honors students desiring to live in Rutledge or Buist together must come to Room Sign Ups together (average your hours to determine your day). Each bedroom must have at least 50% Honors Program students. Singles will be occupied by Honors students. Non-honors students will not be permitted to sign up for Rutledge or Buist without residing with an Honors student next year. Male students will be on the fourth floor of Rutledge and the second floor of Buist. The first floor of Rutledge will be Co-ed, and females will be on the remaining floors of Rutledge and Buist.

50	Now What? Pay your deposit either on Cougar Trail or in the treasurer’s office by Friday, Feb 3. Talk to friends and family about where you want to live. Review building plans, types of rooms, fee schedule and have a list of places you want to live ready when you come to Housing Sign-Up. Complete your housing application on Cougar Trail. Come to Housing Sign-Up on your designated date/time.
