*Pre-payment includes: $200 housing prepayment (non-refundable) which will be divided and credited to your account for each semester of the contract period and a $30 yearly nonrefundable application fee.
Financial Aid Recipient (for current College of Charleston students only)
If you are unable to pay the $200 housing prepayment deposit, you currently receive financial aid at the College of Charleston, and expect to receive financial aid from a student loan for the academic year, you may contact the Department of Residence Life and Housing for a financial aid deferment form. This option is available until May 1st. After May 1st, no deferments will be issued. The $30 application fee cannot be deferred for any reason, and must be sent with the application and contract.
Model Rooms
To give the student an idea of what to expect on move in day, Residence Life provides model rooms during the summer in most of our residence halls. The rooms will open in late May and will close in August. To view these rooms, a key is available to check out at the front desk of the residence hall. Model rooms are not available in historic houses, however floor plans for all buildings are available above.
