Summer Programs

Residence Life and Housing provides conference groups, camps, interns and students with campus housing during the summer months. We offer a variety of residence halls and houses as space is available. The 2009 conference season runs from May 11 to August 1.

Conference sponsors who are interested in receiving an information packet that contains, a guide book of Charleston, South Carolina, Residence Hall information sheets, a Housing Reservation Request Form, Meal Request Form, Meeting Space Request Form, Parking Application, Housing Rates, and Information & Policies A-Z, please contact our office at (843) 953-5523 or email us at ResLifeSummerPrograms@cofc.edu.

How to Request Summer Housing:

1. Print and fill out one of the following request forms:

a) Student Housing
b) Intern Housing
c) Individual Housing (groups with less than 5 people)
d) Conference / Group / Individual Housing

Request forms are also available in the Office of Residence Life and Housing (40 Coming Street). All Reservation Request forms are inquires; it does not guarantee summer housing.


2. Complete form and return with applicable deposits and other information to:

3. Upon receipt of the request, an email confirmation will be sent confirming the dates of stay and the building where you will be tentatively housed. Afterwards, a summer housing packet will be mailed to you that will include the conference contract, acknowledgement form and deposit invoice or receipt. After receiving the summer housing packet, complete, sign and return all forms and materials to our office by the stated deadline.
