All residential students should be aware of the College's mandatory residential COVID-19 testing protocols.

Resources for quarantine and isolation

The College has compiled some important information and resources about COVID-19, preparing for and entering isolation and quarantine, and ways to make virtual connections, which we're including below for reference. Please take some time now to review this information and refer back to it as needed.

Update for 2021-2022

To our current and future residents:

We know this past year has been tricky and we’re grateful for everything you and your fellow students continue to do to keep us all safe. President Hsu announced the College’s plan to resume a normal academic and campus life by the time school begins on August 24. For Campus Housing and Residence Life, that means returning to full density in the halls (minus some rooms for potential quarantine and isolation) and a return to things like social programming, open common kitchens, visitation, and generally enjoying our full sense of community again – which we’re all craving.

We’re dedicated to providing you the best on-campus experience possible. Please let us know if you have any questions about Campus Housing at housing@cofc.edu or Residence Life at reslife@cofc.edu.

We encourage you to visit the Residence Halls and Dining FAQ section of Back on the Bricks, which is being updated routinely. Additionally, you may view recordings of previous virtual Town Halls

Residence Life continues to work closely with Campus Services – including Campus Housing and Dining Services, Student Health Services, Facilities Management, and other College of Charleston and health officials regarding the details of living and dining on campus this fall.
